Since 2006 PhD. degree at Faculty of Biological Sciences, Department of Zoology (Fish fry assemblages in reservoirs, supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Jan Kubečka, CSc).

Present job (part time): PhD. researcher at the Department of Plankton and Fish Ecology of the Hydrobiological Institute, Biological Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, České Budějovice

Research interests include ecology of juvenile fish their migrations, spatial and temporal distribution; trawling; ageing.
