The project was focused on fish fry distribution in poorly developed littoral zone of a deep, canyon-shaped reservoir during the first growing season. The aim of the project was to determine the influence of several factors on density, species and size structure of fish fry assemblage together with their feeding patterns in each littoral habitat. The spatial preferences were different during diel or seasonal cycles and were rather species-specific.
