Every consultancy project is subject to a written contract which will list the specifics of the project. HBI reserves all intelectual rights, including the freedom to publish scientific results from any study by FISHECU. All HBI methodologies and "know-how" are considered public domain and are open to anyone interested. Our policy is to compete for con tracts with our expertise, experience, honest work and reasonable costs, not by secret skills. The income of any contract is fully used for direct costs, gear depreciation, methodology development and support of "soft money personell" so we can serve LIW research in the most qualified way. Participation in both EU-funded projects and EU-organized research efforts (e.g. Water Framework Directive) are among our priorities.
